This policy applies to the lakerog.com website and to the mobile apps published by Lakerog ("the apps"). An app can have its own additional information. If it does, you will find it in the app or on its store listing.
Data we collect
Website. The website has no user accounts and no forms. It does not use its own analytics or advertising cookies. We process data in these cases:
- If you email us, we receive your email address and what you include in the message.
- When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address, your browser and the date and time of the visit, to deliver and protect the website.
- Your light or dark theme preference is saved in your browser's local storage. It is not sent to our servers.
Mobile apps. The data depends on each app and on the features you use. In general, it can include account information, content you provide, technical information about your device and app usage data. The details for each app are on its Google Play listing, in the Data safety section, and in the app itself.
How we use data
We use personal data to:
- Operate, maintain and protect the website and the apps.
- Provide the app features you request.
- Reply to your messages and requests.
- Prevent fraud, abuse and security problems.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
Third-party services
The website uses these providers:
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery and security. It processes technical data about the visit and can use technical cookies that are necessary for security. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google Fonts: the website's typefaces. Your browser downloads them from Google servers, which receive your IP address. Google privacy policy.
The apps can use external providers, for example for hosting, authentication, payments, notifications or analytics, depending on the app. Those providers process data under their own policies. Each app lists them on its store listing or in the app.
The website links to client websites. Those websites have their own privacy policies.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as the law requires. Data for an app account is kept while the account is active. When you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymize it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable law, you can have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request the deletion of your data.
- Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent.
How to exercise them: email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy". Tell us which app or service your request is about. We can ask for information to verify your identity. We will reply within a reasonable time and within any deadline set by the applicable law. You can also file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
Children
The website and the apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Some apps can require a higher minimum age. If so, the app or its terms state it. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We can update this policy. We will publish the new version on this page and change the last updated date. If the change is significant, we will also give notice by a reasonable means, for example in the app.
